Swisher Sweets Enters Electronic Cigarette & Cigar Market

I remember going out in high school, feeling rebellious, and smoking. The guys always tried to show off and be all macho, smoking their Swisher Sweets Wood Tips that they would somehow get at the convenience store. Who sold them to them, I don’t know, but they always thought it was the rebel “cool kid” thing do to.
Fast forward eight years, and I see Swisher brand is entering electronic smoking. Wow, that’s a big sign for the industry. Swisher Sweets is a SERIOUS brand, for sale pretty much anywhere you can get cigarettes.
Yes, you heard me right – Swisher Sweets is now making electronic cigars, and from the report I read, electronic cigarettes as well. Does this take me as a surprise? It shouldn’t, I mean Blu Cigs was bought by Lorillard, a Big Tobacco Giant. Face it, the world is slowly – actually – check that – RAPIDLY moving to a society where cigarette smoke just isn’t permitted or accepted. It’s natural that big brands would want to get their slice of the e-cigarette pie, and I’m happy the awesome Swisher brand has come to the party.
If you haven’t heard of Swisher Sweets, you probably have never entered a gas station, Walgreens, or CVS in the past 25 years. They are everywhere! I know their Wood Tips, grape, wine, and peach flavors packaging – you can’t miss it. I think they have a backwoods type cigar as well if I’m not mistaken, a rough, chewy type of smoke.
